Seeing as the season is only 2 weeks away, I thought it would be a good idea to have a thread where people can talk about the iconic moments of seasons gone by. I've only been watching really since 2009 so I can't really comment on before so here's a few I'll put down. Obviously I'll be a tad biased with having Webber stuff but feel free to add your own.

2011 - Vettel dominance, Button's victory at Canada, Webber vs Alonso at Eau Rouge (?)
2010 - Webber spinning at Korea, RBR Turkey crash, "Not bad for a number 2 driver"/team orders
2009 - Brawn dominance, "Crashgate"
2008 - Brazil finish
2002 - Webber 5th in a Minardi
1994 - Senna death
1989 - Senna v Prost Suzuka

Schumacher punting Damon Hill off in the 94 Australian GP to take the title by a single point

Prost vs Senna at Suzuka in 89 and again in 90

Senna outqualifies Prost by 1.4 seconds (and third place by 2.7 seconds!) at Monaco in 1988

Nigel Mansell passing Ayrton Senna at the 91 Spanish GP was pretty sweet. Villeneuve passing Schumacher, around the outside of the parabolica, at the 96 Portuguese GP is also memorable.

Yes, both passes were very memorable. I remember with the Villeneuve pass on Schumacher, the team told him not to attempt anything this stupid, because they'd have to pick him up off the railing.

Hakkinen. Schumacher. Spa.

THAT pass in 2000, on either side of Zonta, on the run up to Les Combes. Brilliant.

... and attempting to do so again on Villeneuve at the European GP in 1997. Thankfully he failed.

91 Schumacher qualifies 7th on debut?
96 Schumacher goes to Ferrari.?
1984 - Monaco GP the birth of Ayrton?

Thoughts????

94 Australian GP, Schumi taking out Hill for the championship

edit - dammit, didn't see it was already posted

98 or 99 Spa GP, where 3/4 of the field crashed after the first corner

And whats that meant to mean. Arent i worthy of commenting on Nigel?
You can comment on Nigel, that's not a big deal. But after reading comments of yours on the Schumacher thread (and other fanboys as well) and having noticed/reminded it was you who started the Marco Andretti thread, I wasn't expecting such as good contribution. I'm also quietly disappointed at myself for not nominating it. Mansell's blown tyre would be the No.1 iconic F1 moment, so obvious and yet, I didn't get it.

We'll have to agree to disagree about Michael. I stand my ground and always will.
Yeah the Marco one was more dissapointment on my behalf on how much of a flop he has been rather then trying to pump up his tires.
