How about placing Sean Rusling on Chris Judd in the coming game?

Possibly the dumbest move ever thought of by a supporter.

Let's put a marking forward with about six games experience on possibly the greatest player of the game, because he is quick. :thumbsu:

Rusling wouldn't have the tank. The key thing that sets Judd apart from the rest of the world is not his speed alone (he clocked 2.91 for the 20m at his draft camp - good, but there are many others who have gone faster) but that he can keep producing the top speed over and over again when others get tired.

Rusling didn't go to the draft camp, but allegedly ran 10.7 for the hundred at Collingwood internal trials before he got drafted. I would like to see his 20m time though.

Rhys would be my match-up.

Left field match up: Leon Davis.... Could benefit from having some defensive responsibilities (a la Holland) and spark his move to the midfield.

you're right.. that is left field.....

In all seriousness, Rusling would immensely struggle against someone with Judd's characteristics, let alone Judd himself.

Give it to Rhyce, he successfully clobbered him precedently.

Thats a deadset shocker of an idea. Move over Tony shaw.

Rusling got demolished by Sylvia in a defensive role once.

He's crap below his knees and is about as accountable as Leon Davis at this point in time, but his height, speed and marking prowess will see him make a good leading forward, leading flank/winger.

I think he will lift his accountability over time, but he's still a fairly raw kid, who's had a bad run with injury after coming into the upper leagues from private school footy in sleepy Adelaide. He's promising, but needs patience, and our patience would not be assisted if he gets taken apart by the best player in the comp!

So, what your saying is:

Lloyd: The Clokes
Harry: King Woodie

:p

Rusling has been disappointing this. Whether it is fitness since he has been back, ability or just confidence matters little at this point. Judd would destroy him. Rhyce deserves first crack. After that I have no idea what to do. We don't really have a suitable option. Maybe we can send Thomas or Pendelbury to him for a while just for their education but we need to be mindful of crucifying them.
