Idle disconnection

Would someone please tell me how to adjust my computer so that my internet connection does not disconnect automatically after 20 minutes of being idle.

if your using internet explorer
go into your internet properties,click on the connections tab. then click on the settings button.
after that,go down to the dial up seetings section and click on the advanced button.
in there you can turn off the part where you are disconnected after a certain time,in your case 20 minutes.
