IE7 Problem

I've downloaded IE7 but seem to have trouble accessing it,each time I click on the icon all it does is make shortcuts every time.Has anybody else encountered this problem if so can they help?. cheers

Rare Tiger. Never heard of that. Sounds virus-ish.

Of course I recommend Firefox or Opera but each to their own.

This is a download from Microsoft so there shouldn't be any viruses and I have Firefox already otherwise I couldn't post this with IE7.

The best help anyone will give you is to get Mozilla Firefox, and never utter IE again.

edit-oops read what you wrote earlier about Firefox. Just uninstall it and try or google it.

I have to use ie for work and use the ie8 beta which fixes some if the highly irritating issues with ie7, although there are still head-scratchingly weird design issues (bookmarking especially).

It's improved but is still highly avoidable.

I use Opera 9.5 by choice for browsing, but would happily use Firefox. Would probably try to find another browser before using ie for general surfing too!
