Keeffe is a big spud, but Wright is bigger.By that logic Keefe is a ruckman too.

On a rare turn, I'd have to agree with TG and say Wright projects to me as a ruck.
Sounds to me like McCartin won't slide. I wouldn't be surprised if Saints pick McCartin, Melbourne take Petracca and Lever, GWS take Laverde and we get the option to take Wright which I hope we don't take. In that scenario I hope we take Pickett.

Brayshaw has what 90% of our team doesnt.. pinpoint accuracy with both feet.
No. Hes a 203cm ruckman.
Some have compared him to a young Paul Salmon.
Before doing that knee at a very young age Salmon was shaping as an unstoppable force at full forward during his era.
Wright is a far better forward than Grundy hence why he's rated as he is and why he's wont be sliding to pick 18.
I think with so many SA players we would be best to bring in local talent. Pickett looks fantastic and would be great but WA and his heritage may bring higher levels of home sickness. We shouldn't have to think this way and we have had plenty of interstate champs over the years but it does happen occasionally and may start happening a little more often with FA$$$. Don't want to end up with another BEAMs type senario.
Also don't exclude the Matt Rendell Factor.
I dont know what scenario makes that happen, but Brayshaw for sure.So if Wright and Brayshaw are available who do we take?
If that happens then we take Angus Brayshaw.
I think our drafting this year will be fairly dependant on our trade/FA targets next year. If we have identified that we are targeting a high quality mid (wouldn't be surprised if enquiries aren't already being made) then I could see us happily picking up Wright or similar key position prospects.
we need to pick whoever is the best accurate kick.Badly need good foot skills. If it's Weller, then he's the man!Weller, one of the best kicks in the draft. Which is what we need.
is this kid any relation to Mark Brayshaw, the North guy?... and I'll need to go buy myself a new pair of slacks after mini-partypie does a Hulk-style number out through the front of the ones I am wearing.
Gee he's smooth, in the draft prospect vid I can't tell which is his preferred side - if it's right then he has a bloody smooth looking opposite side, if it's left then he kicks on the opposite side as readily and naturally as he does on his favoured side (I was feeling a similar degree of excitement last year over Bontempelli).
I can't see Melbourne AND GWS both overlooking him - surely one of the two has to have a little bit of common sense.
Reid still injury prone? Brown is slowing down. Lever could be a good option in a year or two.I realise that but if Reid is to play forward we need a quality KPD to take his place. Lever and Keeffe to me project as prospective KPD for us while Reid plays up forward. As Cloke fades in comes Moore.
Reid and Brown we took at 8 & 10 in 2006 and we need another generation of KP stock now.
Mark Brayshaw's son, James Brayshaw's nephew.is this kid any relation to Mark Brayshaw, the North guy?
In the odd scenario Lavede is gone by our selection McCartin if there would be my pick. If not Peter Wright would suffice.
