I don’t have strong feelings either way on Simmo. I can see the merit in both retaining him and getting a fresh set of eyes, but the way he has conducted himself in the media this week has been exemplary.
Rightly, he has put all the attention on our retiring stars and not for a moment tried to push his own case. In my eyes, he’d go out as an Eagle great if he does get the sack.
