Im not comparing thomas to delido, but he will be an outstanding player for us. I know that it was a big priorty for the club to start looking at replacing clement and waiklen as they are only getting older, in saying this Danny Stanly looks the goods and has a great build on him already, probably has the potential to be the same size of someone like Mal Michael.
More likely to become a Glen Archer-type than a Mal Michael, IMO.

The kids passion for not only playing the game of aussie rules, but playing in the black and white is just amazing. :thumbsu:

Daniel Stanley is about 90kgs and the youngest player in the AFL :O
Actually, 9th youngest, but you're right about it being impressive.

Travis Varcoe is the youngest player in the league.

Nothing to write home about for a near full strength Freo.
A full strength Collingwood team is one man, Buckley. Malthouse needs to stop running teams into the ground like he did WCE.

Varcoe 10/4/88
Stanley 18/2/88.
Someone has their facts wrong (probably me).
I am using AFL Records Season Preview, also I read it in a paper somewhere.
I don't know about you, but I've always thought April was AFTER February, which would mean that Varcoe was born later, which would mean he hasn't been alive for as long as Danny Stanley, which would mean that he is younger.

I don't know, maybe my logic has failed somewhere along the line ;)

As opposed to the geniuses at Freo?

Malthouse has achived more at Collingwood, let alone at WCE than all Freo's coaches combined ever have.
