This won a C6 at Ballarat today with Ollie on.
Owned by Lloyd Williams,he's an unbeaten Zabeel 5yo

Only his 4th start but he beat a couple of handy ones untouched in good time.
Noticed he's in all the big races,no idea how far he can go but I bet Ollie will be sticking after the armchair ride he got today.

He'd be heading to town now.

I chucked 250 on in today at 1.6

I've backed it each start since it resumed from a two year spell (all of three, and all very short ranging from 1.3 to 2.5). However the first time i backed it was due to mistaken identity. I got it mixed up with Illusionist the saturday class runner. its payed dividneds all be it short ones. Hopefully we can get some value for it on a saturday.

If anyone likes a long range interest & thinks he might be a Caulfield Cup roughie.he's $151 at Sportingbet.
Into $67 with Eskander & $81 at TAB.

Long road from a C6 at Ballarat but if he gets anywhere near it that will be a decent price.

Keen to see what his next step is.

Im the 1st to admit Im no fan of Lloyd's horses but what a performance
Whats he run his last 400m in, 1st up?

seth

Not sure either, last Spring they nominated it for everything then spelled it.
This campaign he's not in anything,Doncaster,A Cup as far as I can see?
Dont know if it had a problem in the Spring?

seth

Not sure what his rating is but he will be weighted out of mid week races now you would think.

Only option is maybe keep winning Saturday class races then tip him out for full on crack at the spring.

Unless they are looking at Brisbane but then the timing is a little out.

Damn did exactly the same thing today..... Lucky it won especially at those odds....

Thats the only time it's been tested so far.
Good to know it can find the line, gotta love horses that are winners

Rodd sounded as if he was confident all along, saying he knew what he was capable of from riding him in trackwork.

Can only get better with fitness and more distance being out of an Oaks winner.

He looks a real 2000m+ horse who's winning on raw ability so far.
Relaxes so well in his races, looks the real deal.

Martin said Lloyd sold him at his dispersal sale for 200K
Then bought him back for 230???

Must have had a spare 30k in the ashtray.

I'm glad they haven't nominated him for any Sydney staying races, another one Magic doesn't have to beat.

it made up 4 lengths how is that only half a second....

Re: Rodds confidence surely he is kidding himself...

Got the feeling they weren't going to be heartbroken if he got beat today, he just said he was happy to let him go through his gears.

It has definitely been nominated for the Sydney Cup. As far as the BMW goes, if they felt he was up to that, I don't think the late nom fee would be too much for Lloyd.

Magic Instinct's run on Saturday was very good. He'll be a good chance in the Sydney Cup.

Cheers Tim,didnt look at the Sydney Cup noms.
He's $34 at IAS,$26 at Centrebet

Read in todays paper he is taking the same path as Perlin did a few years back. Will start odds on in open handicaps before going to Brisbane.

Yeah very happy with the way Magic is travelling at the moment.
