This should be the revenge game after the shame and humiliation of the Rd 5 loss...the one that had everyone including me calling for a new coach, new gameplan and new players. They have turned this around in a way few others ever have, and i think we have the belief and talent to go all the way. I am sure Geelong have been storing this game up (Plus last year's insipid effort at Canberra) for a while. It's payback time!!

This above post, made in the now traditional 'This is the game we usually lose' thread...was the one plucked out of the thousands of posts Bigfooty has daily, and was posted on Pg 6 of Inside Football this week. In the words of the Simpsons in the NFL commentary they had in the episode when Lisa would tip Homer the correct teams in his gambling..'Who would have thunk it?' Good to see that the creators of this 'This is the game we usually lose' thread also have got recognition, it means they are read widely in the football community too.

Well, Go Catters and keep up the tradition....keep winning and make these threads last until October, when we will realise that it's the first intra-club game that we normally lose!!:D

i had to read that twice before it made sense.

Are you saying that this board was specifically mentioned in the Inside Football article??

I should have made it bold, to separate it from the subtext. The particular board wasn't mentioned, but obviously the person who plucked out my literary gem from the thousands of other posts, must have been reading the 'This is the game we ususally lose' thread to have put that in. Maybe that means this has a life of it's own, a genuine lucky charm for our current brilliant winning sequence.

ah ha! Sorry I'm a bit slow today.

Well that's one for the scrapbook.

Well done catsace! :thumbsu: I believe one of my posts about Travis Varcoe was read out on SEN a couple of months ago, or so I was told. Maybe we could form our own "BigFooty posters who have been quoted in the media" club. :p

I read it this morning and had a laugh. Congratulations. Some people have good jobs where they just read what other people write and then just copy it.

Growing all the time though. I gather with all the intelligent Geelong fans posting insightful posts in here, it'll soon grow. :thumbsu:

Looked around a few other team boards the last few weeks, and I think the posts on this board would have to be the most analytical I've seen, and there's always good healthy debate on here too. :thumbsu:

If you want analytical debate check out the Essendon Board. Wow. Anywho...

Well done Catsace. A bit of vindication always warms the heart. I agree that we Cats supporters do stick together and debate with purpose most times.

I love yoose guys! :D
