iMac playing Windows games

Hi all,
Looking to become a Mac daddy but like playing a few games on the pc, usually a year or two behind the current series. What is the Mac like for game playback through the Windows clone?

I use Windows 7 on an i5 27" iMac, playing games like Modern Warfare 2, Crysis series, Metro 2033, Bad Company 2 etc with no problems at all. It's a beauty for gaming, especially with the immersive 27" screen size.

I just checked out the price for that configuration. $2,600! Did you also pay for a legit copy of windows?

Valves Steam has also been released on the Mac, so that should ensure that Games are delivered simitaniously to both the Mac and PC, in the future.

I think performance would be best by booting into Windows rather than opening up a VM.

Steam Mac is excellent, because of the white headphones that can be worn in TF2 as headgear on characters its now easy to tell who im making my bitch, mac or PC
