Other Teams
Melbourne ...HELLO i mean how easy?
a lot of things were said yesterday and last night, about the whole jeff farmer issue, and i for one know that i was a bit hot headed ealier in the day about it all. But today although i fell sad he is gone i have gotten to the stage where i dont care as much about it now. hakuna matata. ive moved on from it all and are looking forward as to who melbourne are going to trade and who we will forget. so even tho the wizza is gone, lets try to move on from it all please.

Well I think for some people this might be harder than it is for you and thats totally fine.
I know this is not the end of the world or the end of Melbourne and yes i have moved on, but think about it Nicki, if it was Neita or Oxy gone you would be really upset because they are your favorite players.
***** happens we all know that, but some people may need longer to get used to it than others.

Like Or said, that is soooooooo easy for you to say. I for one am still absolutly shattered that he is gone, and the fact that I cannot do anything about it makes it worse. I mean, if Neitz came out and said he was leaving the club, that's all we would ehar about. If Robbo left the club, that's all we would hear about.

This message board is a place to share your views, and I for one am gonna vent my feelings about the Farmer issue for as long as I feel necessary. Like it or not, he WAS and IS more important that Neita and Robbo and Ox and anyone else for that matter - Who is gonna crumb the packs?? Kick the miracle goal?? Fire us all up?? Without the Wiz, we have no-one..........just stop and think about that for a second, and how badly it will affect the team.......

That's exactly how I feel Cowboy...I don't think the Club did enough to keep the Wiz.....for instance the players could have taken a pay-cut...just one example...I am sure he would have stayed also, if that Ron Joseph did not come into the picture.

I am absolutely devastated the Wiz has gone...because he really should have been a Melb. player until retirement...and become a true legend of the club..!:(

Why should other players take a pay cut? That's just silly. What do you want to do, put all the players off side.
Melbourne did everything they could. We do have to remember we are tight under the salary cap. I congratualte the club for standing up for itself. He was not worth more than $350,000 a year.

Another thing, what a stuipid comment made by Mr Gutnick saying"I would have made him an offer he could not refuse". I've never heard of anything so silly and it shows how inexperienced he really is.

hehe

Yeah, Gutnick coulda plonked a few diamonds on the table for old Wizza!!!
