Worst call ever. Ironically there is a Hawthorn throw right in front of their goal that was called play on. 4:20 watch number 25 for the Hawks. Frost had hold of one of his arms.

It's just fukn annoying that they never pay illegal disposal or throws, yet when Pendles handballs it properly they call it from a million miles away. We would've lost anyway but even just watching neutral games the umpiring is a joke.

Honestly people have praised the umpires no end this year and I don't get it at all. Make not mistake the push in the marking contest fiasco last year was ridiculous and it's good that they've stopped that, but now they've replaced it with spectating the play and randomly pinging players for HTB when they're jumped on by 5 opponents.

It's absolutely disgraceful at the current time. Sydney were gifted a win last night as well.

I don't care if we wouldn't have won despite the incorrect throw call on Pendles. I want the responsible incompetent umpire penalised. The club should pursue it.

Few dodgy ones each way, but I think the throw against Pendlebury was a bad decision at a critical moment because it helped switch momentum back to the Hawks. Not sure I'd say it won us the game but it definitely helped to avoid losing it (given we kicked a few late ones after that).

Anyway, sorry to intrude, just reckon it's one thing to miss frees that are there, but it's just annoying to give them when they aren't there. If in doubt, play on.

These type of responses area just as worse as the fuken disgraceful umpires, as a pies supporter I have no idea how it feels like when umpires give a armchair ride. Mate there were no few dodgy one each way , it was all one way. These fukwits should be performance based, the better you umpire the more you make, Free market style, the standard will increase. Always amazes me when a fan sitting in the 4th level of the ponsford can spot the correct decision for the moment and you have 4 of these fukheads running around doing what ever the **** they want. Disgraceful and this is partly to blame for the crowds numbers this year.

Nothing to whinge about really. Sure there were a few bad decisions, but Hawthorn are just a better side than us at present.

I was however, disappointed in the Pendles throwing incident. That really hurt our momentum.

You've got to be joking. The Pendles hand pass was disgusting and that particular umpire deserves all the criticism that is coming his way. He should not be umpiring AFL next week. He was miles away from the play and obviously wasn't even in a position to see the play. I can handle umpires making honest mistakes when they are acting in a professional manner, I can't handle amateurish knee jerk decisions. Hawthorn being a better side than us doesn't change the fact that the decision in question was a momentum killer from an umpire more concerned about following a directive than officiating the game in front of him.

Something needs to be done. It's the usual shit week in week out. Umpires continually ruin the footballing experience for me and 1000's of other passionate supporters. Unless you are 110% certain no whistle should be blown and for christs sake a bit of consistency for the holding the ball rule wouldn't be too much more to ask for?

2 absolute ridiculous deliberate out of bounds against brisbane that resulted in goals,ballantyne pretending he got his head taken off n getting a fifty and pavlich pushing a guy in the back nothing paid and he kicks a goal.

Brisbane are playing terribly but still no excuse for those 4 poor umpiring decisions.

The umps are human , like players they do their best but also make mistakes. Our players made a lot more mistakes than the umps today.
