I used to think that the crimes against humanity, the tri-panel and the white clash, were simply money making schemes for the clubs.

After seeing the Indigenous inspired guernsey, I have come to the conclusion that our designers are really bad and our board has heinous taste.

Yeah I like the Eagles head and I love the waterholes.

But why, for the love of sweet Jesus, do they persist with white?

I think a yellow head on a blue background, with yellow and ochre waterholes would have looked visually amazing.

Every club is really running with the white background or mainly white jumpers. Getting a little stale. Players with plain old Puma black boots look like the show offs now because everyone has white, orange, red boots lol The jumper is not bad Id give it a 3.5/5. Maybe have a competition and as a one off each year it gets redesigned. All money raised from the jersey should go back into indigenous community football programmes and education.

As posted on Wings thread - this is the Eagles twitter pic - with a white circle, the Eagle would work great on a blue jumper. Could even keep the yellow jumper wings if done right.

I'd definitely buy that jumper - I wont buy the white one. Just remove the words, put the eagle jumper wings on, and you have a winner

Love the design, probably would prefer a blue back ground, but it's a shitload better than the Norf one. I also like how the eagle looks like a wedge-tailed eagle and not the bald or generic eagle that we have.

Nah f**k the haters, I love this. Great effort by the club and to tie it into the announcement of our well overdue Reconciliation Action Plan makes this a fantastic week for the club in terms of engagement with the Indigenous community and its players.
