Is anyone attending the 2009 Induction Evening on Wednesday the 18th? And has anyone been to one before?

I'm going - should be interesting. Taking another Tiger mate along.

It says that there's a tour of the MCG? Probably not THE tour but just where reserved seating is placed that kind of thing?

Can anyone help us out who's been before?

I personally would like to thank the RFC on putting on a fantastic night for the Induction evening. A great concept IMO & I'm sure its been a great night in previous years.

Dale Weigthman firstly introduced the attending players being Johnson, Schulz, Rance, Collins, Jake King & Tucky (top bloke) & also David King who lead us to the 'G for a tour. Something I've wanted to do but never had the time.

We split into groups & handed over to a 75 year old MCC tour guide, taking us through The Long Room up to the coaches box, press conference room, changerooms, practice wicket area & finally on the MCG. No matter how many times to go to the 'G, you're always amazed at how beautiful that stadium is. Went for about 45mins & then headed back to the Richmond changerooms where David King showed us around the gym & explained how the Tigers have been working on core strength activities.

We then proceeded up to the social club where we had a couple of light refreshments & listened to David King interview the players in front of a crowd of new & excited Tigers fans. I must admit that I had previous misconceptions about David King as a person ( call me fickle - probably because of he's days at the Roos) but he made myself & my Tiger mate who I brought along, really welcome & feel like where apart of the club. Two thumbs up to him.

On a whole this would be a night that I would recommend this function to any new Tiger member to attend in the future. Again thank RFC
