Couple of trophies left. Just Evil to the Core and Rockhound. Looks like I'll finally have a second Platinum.

I can't wait for the sequel as well, the ending was great and it sets up a sequel very well.
 
... I have 1 trophy to get being Rockhound until I finally rack in a Platinum... But I'm not getting it! I finally worked my way up to the point where I had 326/350 Blast shards and what happens? The game f**king freezes and because I didn't think I'd have to save, I'm back to 267 shards. F**k this! It took me an entire bloody hour to get 59 damn shards. Unless a gamesave analyzer gets released like Burnout Paradise, inFamous will be staying in it's disk case for good.

Finding the Shards really is a bitch though. You can't really use maps or walkthroughs as the shards aren't number or anything.

A few quirks about the game too, load up the map and it has a blue marker for blast shards. Why? They don't even appear on the map.. they should if you finish the game or something.. maybe finish it on hard?

Also, you do a side mission, take over a territory and 'enemies will not return'. Actually... they do.
 
I can't even turn my PS3 on at the moment, I was disgusted when the game froze and I don't think I'm ever going to want to play inFamous again. Wasting all those houres made me sick so unless a gamesave analyzer comes out like Burnout had for finding all the events, inFamous will be permanently resting in it's case, finding the shards drives me insane anyway.
 
I just went to play as hero again to find my last 10 blast shards to find that it has been overwritten by an Infamous save file. I might play the game again in 5 or so years time.

I'm going to use the map I showed before and cross them off. Easiest way I can think of right now.

Pretty sure it's there just because when you click L3 in the game it shows up on your mini-map. Some might want to know what that is. The legend in the big map helps you know what that is for.

That is a strange one, I just took it as they would only return in small numbers until you complete the whole game.

What's this gamesave analyzer you're talking about?
 
In Burnout Paradise, there's a trophy where you have to find all events in the city. A lot of people has a lot of trouble doing this but thankfully, Criterion not only released a map, but they also released a cool thing called a gamesave analyzer. You copy your Burnout Paradise gamesave to a USB, then upload it onto the analyzer at the Criterion site and once it's been analyzed, it tells you where all the events you haven't discovered yet are. It would definitely be convienient for inFamous but I doubt it'd ever get released.

Going through every shard 1 by 1 would take so long and become so boring you have no idea, there are a total of 350 and I'm sure if you simply look at the map, you'd notice several of them are scattered everywhere.
 
yeh that does sound like a good idea

still a lil bit of a hassle though but for completionists i don't think they'd care at all

I think it is a fair wading through of everything to find what he does and doesn't like. I think he liked GTA Chinatown wars as he said it has a shitload of faults but some faults compliment the others so it meets in an almost goodness of shit way.

But I don't know many others he names in a good light.

inFAMOUS is probably the most actually positive review I have heard from him since it was more about the moral system and that it doesn't really work in games more than anything else.
 
...I take back what I said earlier about my inFamous save. As soon as my game froze, I thought it was all gone, all the hard work banished so I didn't touch my PS3 for a while but when I put the disk back in... and all my Shards are still there as the game autosaved!

After racking in some more shards, I only have 5 more to get, it's going to be a hassle though, they're extremely hard to find now. I'm sure the Warren has the rest though because I've triple checked all the other islands.

I've got 4 or 5 shards left also and it's becoming a pain in the ass. I printed off all three maps and 1 by 1 I visited all the locations and crossed all the blue circles of as I went along and it still isn't good enough for this game. Rockhound should have been a Gold Trophy also because this is gayness. :thumbsd:

Apparently some of the shards don't actually show up on your map when you click R3 because they are so far away, just in case you didn't know and it might be those.:confused:

Nah, I jumped out onto the posts on all of the broken jetty's and stuff like that as well. I must of been day dreaming and crossing stuff off while looking for the shards or the light blue lightning bolts might have been in the way while I was looking.

It's always good to go through 2 or 3 times looking for everything.

I went through the stunt jumps on GTA IV. thought I had them all, turned out I was missing 3 so I had to go through it again to find them.

They'll be there (obviously) just will take a bit of looking (even if it is a ****en shit to go through 350 of them though:o).
 
I have 3 left to find. Keep in mind that some are heavily camoflauged in the water so look as hard as you can toward the mini-map.

It was a good idea of the devs to make the shards on the map the same colour as the water :rolleyes:. I've got 2 weeks to find the shards now anyway so i'll have my 3rd Platinum by then anyway :thumbsu::)
