G'day Eagles fans

Comiserations on your season, I know that feeling too being a Geelong supporter.

Chad Morrison has been mentioned as a trade target by Geelong - what's he like and what would you want for him?

btw what are your thoughts on Mitch White - personally I think he did OK with his injuries but he copped a pasting from some Cats fans (he's safe as long as Murphy's at the club though).

Phew, for a minute there I thought you were going to be a collingwood supporter saying that for Morrison we would get Bethera, Lane and some other dud. But thankfully your not and I can be reasonable.

For Morrison, let me see, from the Cats list, Spriggs and a high draft pick (2nd round) would be good. Thats reasonable I feel.

Morrison: 23yr old utility player. Can play very well in defence, midfield or up forward. Was WC's leading mark taker until he got injured. Capable of being a fantastic player and a leader of the club. Only downfall is his knee recon, won't be playing till mid-2002, i reckon. Also played for the Big V a few years back.

Eagles wouldn't let him go as cheaply as White, he is young, versatile and a good reader of play. A top 20 pick could well be demanded for him.

And on Mitch White, despite him leaving the club most eagles fans still like him. We blame his departure on KJ.

What are Geelong's draft picks anyway? Another first round draft pick would be nice!

I dont want to trade Morrison, with Matera nearing the end of his career Morrison will slot nicely into a half back position. He is a very good player and if he gets back to his best after the recon then we will all be annoyed to see him in a Geelong jumper.

I think we should keep him!
