Dean Kemp is going to play next week and Phil Matera is a hopeful for next week as well. Here's the proof from the australian:

Goal shark Phil Ma tera (shoulder) and former Fremantle defender Greg Harding (ankle) are also on the verge of returning. The pair will be monitored this week. Matera, 25, is in the first year of a new three-year deal believed to be worth $300,000 a season.

Matera and his management rejected a $350,000-a-season offer from the Dockers.

I don't really care about harding, but it is great to hear that for the derby we'll have tommy and Roo jr

back, and maybe even Siera as he's meant to be out for 1-2 weeks only.

Hopefully Phil and Scotty, along with Tommy, will be ready for our battle with the Saints. How will we go away?, hopefully better than against Geelong!

This is from the realfooty website:

WEST COAST
v St Kilda, Colonial Stadium, Sunday.
David Sierakowski is making speedy progress from a knee injury in the opening round and is confident of playing against his former club this weekend. The injury-plagued Eagles may regain co-captain Dean Kemp, full-forward Scott Cummings and goalkicker Phillip Matera, which would do their cause no harm. Glen Jakovich and Chad Morrison are confident of retaining their places after being hurt against the Swans on Sunday. Ashley McIntosh, a likely opponent of Peter Everitt, will play his 200th game.

-----------------------------------------------

Great news for the team, we are more than likely to beat the saints.

And well done to Macca, lets hope he can reach 250 games aswell.

D4E - a little too confident there. St Kilda are a decent team and at Colonial will be a tough ask.

Burke and Hall in the backline will be good, Harvey and Thompson are very good on ballers and there forward line will be tough to stop with Everitt Gehrig and Hamill. I think we can bet them but is certainly not a certainty.

Boy we haven't started off to well now have we? Sierra can now be added to the list of injuries:

Phillip Read - Season (Knee)
David Sierakowski - Season (Knee)
Darren Glass - ~ 7 Weeks (Ankle)
Zac Beeck - ~ 6 Weeks (Knee)
Andrew Embley - ~ 5 Weeks (Shoulder)
Michael Braun - 1/2 Weeks (Hamstring)
Rowan Jones - 1/2 Weeks (Back)
Travis Gaspar - ? (Groin)
Greg Harding - ? (Ankle)

Aren't doing to well at the moment are we? I think those above are fairly accurate but at least we are getting back some good players from injury. Real shame about Sierrakowski, I really thought he might settle down over here. Maybe the WC medical staff aren't paying enough attention to injured players?
