What's the problem?

Cam Clo's still there. Presumably he'll be shouldering some of the ruckwork, which I like and you have said you like too.

Make no mistake about it, we've been carying Richards. Now Richards has some serious internal competition from Cameron. That's a good thing.

I'd drop Shaw and add Davis and Mullins.

Mullins has earned his spot, so I hope he's not about to become Scotland Mach II (ie. not get played by stubborn old coach).

Walker was OK last weekend, and Port might try to stretch us for height in defence, so I wouldn't be surprised to see him selected, despite the fact I don't think he's ready (I have my doubts he will ever be). Who'd you drop? Maybe J-Clo??

If Kinnear's selected after last weekend's performance, I will call for the immediate termination of Malthouse's contract on the grounds of hypicracy. Kinnear was sheiBenhaus!!

We can't afford to two apprentice ruckmen in the side at once. Richards has had a decent crack, C-Clo's debut was impressive, so its time for Richards to return to the magoos.

He'll be back.

We are in trouble, anyone will or should agree. But with Guy Richards out this week, the replacement should be someone tall. I think that Mick has made this clear and will choose either Tex or Our Man Ben Kinnear.

Brendon Lade will be used most of the time in the ruck, so that is a bonus for us in Defence.

No Bucks or Tarrant, maybe a good sign for next week, because it will be time for maybe even Lockyer to be fit. The selection table will be hard at it.

Ryan Lonie is the first person to mind that has to be the 2nd player to be dropped. David King may deserve one more chance, but why should King - who we all love - get more of a chance than Bo Nixon if they play inefficiently.

I'd like to carry him all year short of him losing all semblance of confidence. I do like cam in the ruck as a body player relieving Fraser. However I don't like Fraser in the ruck and I would love to either develop Richards or know he won't make it.

No problem playing Mullins and no problem dropping Shaw but will it happen? Both Shaw and O'Bree should not be there right now. Lokan is a bit if'y. Davis has seriously over rated Port Adelaide form.

Walker may have a future but it is a good year or two away. He has had 1 good quarter to date (v Sydney last year) and that's it. He doesn't know how to get the ball. He ahs to learn that at Willi. I am not sure he will but as a list player I like what he may one dayy offer. right now he is nowhere near an AFL footballer. I am all for developinbg players but we have much more pressing and frankly better projects to work on - Cam, Richards and a couple of smalls like Mulling & McGough. Throw B. Shaw into the mix if we want to develop another player.

The best way to stop Port stretching us for height is to stretch them in with our forwards and use Josh as a forward where possible.

I doubt anyone can solve the Kinnear riddle. I still haven't met anyone who can believe he is still on the list. About the closest to a valid argument I have heard is height depth but unfortunately he doesn't play tall, take overhead marks or have any strength. Unfortunately he still gets the odd game to remind us how completely ineffective he is.

At least Cam and Mcgough are in at last. Half a season too late but at least they are there.

My thoughts on the ins and outs.

Dissappointed that Guy Richards has been dropped, but if your not prepared to play him then you shouldn't pick him. The last few weeks, when he's been on the park he's shown potential, but only getting a few minutes a game can only be doing him more harm than good (IMO).

Glad to see Mullins has been picked, and had better play this week. I didn't think he should have been dropped last week, and his BOG for Williamstown proved my point.

Rhyce Shaw and Matthew Lokan should be dropped back to Williamstown for a couple of weeks at least (IMO), they haven't been impressing me with their form lately and having watched Williamston matches lately I can think of a few guys who should be given a run before them.

Also good to hear that Tarrent, Buckley and Lockyer should be right for the game against Carlton too.

Errrr....I won't call for his head this week, as Josh's absense was unlucky, and as his intention was to drag (preferably) C. Cornes back to a pocket and reduce his rebounding capacity, which to an extent worked. It also helped us, by them not being able to play Cornes forward.

That said, the downside to that was that we had to have Kinnear playing for us and he is unequivocally the worst footballer in the competition.

Figjam, please go and have that talk with MM. I'm scared I'll do something homicidal if he gets another gig.
