INS: Cogs, Connors, polo, meyer

I wont even begin to start with the outs , any 4 of 16 players could easily make way after todays dismal performance. Morton and JR are a couple that immediatley come to mind as really struggling...too many others to throw up in one post

One Bloke that is In Good nick Is Will Thursfield. He was one of the ONLY players out there having a go.

Pass on Meyer, he had a pretty poor game yesterday, but I agree on the other three.

One of Morton and Riewoldt also needs to be dropped. They simply haven't done enough over the last 3 weeks.

McMohan also needs a kick up the arse. He is always one of our best 10 players when we win, but when we lose, he is always one of our worst = downhill skier. I thought this bloke was recruited for his skills and was meant to be an upgrade on Andrew Raines, at least Rainesy had an opponent

Agreed. No point naming names after those 2 we were crap to a man. The wet conditions certainly showed the difference between our boys and their men. Apart from Tuck we were killed for strength.

I picked it a few weeks back TT that with Cats, Crows and Hawks we needed bigger bodies in the middle, appeared I was robinson crusoe at the time...in last fortnight we've been shown up by more experinced campaigners....There's no way we can expect to go stride for stride aginst top flight Mid fields with rookies in Edwards/white/cotchin and Tambling in the mix together, thats why I suggested Cogs..I'm sure he'll get a gig this week, is it too late:confused:

I can bet my bottom dollar that Hyde and Tivendale will be the ins next week BJ. Watch this space, TW is clutching for straws and he wont take a risk. He will attempt to stem the blood flow with the tried and tested formula. ;)

Andrew Raines copped a lot of flak last year due to his poor disposal and decision-making but as we saw yesterday, many of his better credentialed Tiger mates are capable of folding under pressure the same way when under the pump!

I used to hate Raines' turnovers as well but when he concentrated on shutting down his opponent, he was often quite effective.
(Remember he toweled up Ricciuto in our 2006 win)

So... perhaps a Raines recall? Gulp... :o

Tried, tested, failed.

Not when it comes to being able to say, oh but we werent beaten by a 100 , we were good today because we went down by 63, so there is a definite improvement and alot to look forward to next year when i can get paid 500 large and once again pull your dicks with my smoke and mirrors. ;)

Coggarules I hope not that's just another backward step in the development process. I'd like to see Connors and Cogs get a go. Partly because they have a bit of grunt which is what Adelaide mauled us with. Cogs is probably not ready but when he is give him a shot!

I don't see the point of Meyer at this stage? What can he really offer us? We have the supposed skills (seemingly) what we lack is the grunt and hardness and some bigger bodies. Tivendale is shit at senior level and Hyde is the turnover king (we already have enough of this)

Boy do we need another ruckman. Simmonds is not/cannot be a permanent ruckman. I'd rather see Cartledge/Graham getting slaughtered in the ruck and give Simmonds a shot up forward as our forward line is a shit hole right now.

Bring back Hughes as well. Our forward line is better with him in it. I'm sick of seeing the same old crap every time we move the ball forward. Get Richo out of there and back where he's played his best this year. We're a worse side with him as our permanent forward it's been proven this year.

And also FTR I'm off the Tambling bandwagon (which I've been falling off for awhile - climbed back on after the Brisbane game). I'd rather see him in the forward pocket with small stints in the middle. Despite the Brisbane game making him look really flashy he is lucky to be recieving a gig. I feel sorry for him at times because he looks really lost.

1. Simonds is an average ruckman at best. Ties hard but does not have any influence on a game, even when he is playing at his best. Mistimes his jumps, does not crash packs, exerts zero influence on a contest.
2. You dont see the point on Meyer or Connors or whoever. But i dont see the point of not seeing that point. Instead we see the same point that we continue to see. ;)

so am I , I fear it may be a cover up:confused:

Cover up for what? (Or should I be scared to ask?) :(

(I'm a little slow today... was up late watching Tuckers Tibetapalooza last night. The US Dreamteam were putting on an All-Star type show!)

Drop Patto and give Cartledge a crack, was good for Coburg according to reports. Its been a long season and the younger players are tiring.

I'd say;

IN: Cartledge, Connors, Meyer
OUT: Pattison, Morton, King

I would love to see Coughlan in...

Too many players played crap to be able to chose who should come in and who should stay. Personally I'd like to see the same team next week. They're not going to learn to play an AFL grade competition while we continue this In one week, Out the other mentality.
The players are confused, look at them out there. They're so worried about making sure they're in the right position rather than attacking and winning the ball.

I agree with Bojangles. In with Meyer, Connors, Polo. I'd throw Rance in as well and give him a taste of it for the last three games. We all know it won't happen though. Tivendale and Hyde will get a game next week.

was reported in the papers that the lads witness to the accident could have been shaken...still could be the case, who knows, certainly wouldnt be something the club would scream from the rooftops:confused:

Pattison only had 35% gametime yesterday for 11 possesions and 11 hitouts. This is a pass in my book. In saying this, I would still like to see Cartlege or Graham at least get a go to see if they are worth persisting with.

Conners and Polo have to come, Tivdendale (and maybe Hyde) will both play at least one more game each this year - farewell games nonetheless

yeah it is a pass, but its always going to be a pass when its 35% game time. The problem is that i am tipping that if they were to up it to 60% game time, then you would be seeing the same 11 possies and 11 hit outs and then it would nt be a pass, and another "top" draft blunder is uncovered for all to see. ;)
