I've gotta say, I'm really pleased with this result. I think we definitely got the better of the Eagles in the Haynes trade, and we sucked the Bulldogs into trading pick #20 for Street, allowing us to keep a 2nd round draft pick. Now all we need to do is convince Nathan Ablett to come and play with his older brother, or perhaps that has already been decided.Originally posted by GeeCat

All the talk on this board and others is about the dogs and hawks screwing everybody over Essendon is just as bad. Jacobs for pick 6 and Alvey , come on , that makes them just as guilty as the other 2

Croad for pick #11
Definite winner, too.
I can't believe Essendon would want a hack like Murphy in their team, especially after just retiring Alessio!Originally posted by Jim Boy
Essendon too can't be too happy either, any trade period where you pick up J.Murphy is a bad trade period.

What happened with Ray Hall? Is he another who refused to come down the highway (add Guerra as well), and if that's the case what hope do we have of attracting a half-decent footballer? I think Geelong has a case to receive some sort of assistance with relocating players, like the small bounty handed over to Brisbane and Sydney.

I'd be happy with a priority zone selection.
