Surely Ziggy Switkowski did not agree to his report on the Bombers drug problems being leaked?

Today that paragon of integrity Andrew Dementia commented:
''That report, I'm predicting, will be handed down in the coming weeks,'' AFL chief executive Andrew Demetriou said on Monday. ''So we'll have a guide or an interim guide about what they've discovered around their own internal processes, and they've assured us they're going to make that known to the AFL Commission, which means I'm sure that will be made public.''

Ziggy needs to understand the general public are cynical of his clubs protestations of innocence:
Hird and Thompson, the latter having admitted that the club explored ''new territories'' last year

Lets hope Ziggy demands his report is treated with respect by those who receive it initially & it does not become fodder for the spin doctors.

Sounds like its not far away the Ziggy report - as you would expect an internal investigation would be completed before the AFL investigation, let alone the ASADA look see.

lol Ziggy wouldnt have even set the parameters for his report, let alone demanded it be treated in any way. Theres no way it could be kept out of the public eye either. Simply too much public, league and government interest in the matter.

lol you reckon, Ziggys name will be better known to the general public than it is today. He will have demanded some say over how the report is used - bit like the original Essendon press conference, not a bit of club paraphernalia anywhere to be see.

terms of reference of inquires are never set by the author. It'll be set by the board who will decide how the information is disseminated. Ziggy will advise, but almost certainly have no final say

The 'Ziggy' report, unless he comes down hard on Essendon, is going to been seen as a white wash. Not because what he comes up with may or may not be true, but because it is a investigation set up by Essendon to be done by a Essendon supporter. They should have found someone independent who has no Essendon or even AFL links (ie someone from NSW or QLD).

What is Ziggy's qualification to do the investigation anyway? Being a trained Nuclear physicist??? Running Telstra (badly)???? Chairman of Opera Australia????

You are a turkey tom, pre judging the report like that, Ziggy is no turkey, you dont achieve what he has in life by being influenced by the way the wind is blowing.

I do agree the Bombers report would have more credence if it was seen to be independent, but Ziggy will tell it the way he sees it, not the way David Evans might want it, & Evans picked him in that knowledge.
