I had the good fortune on attending a lunch today provided by the sandy zebras and guest speakers were T-shirt Tommy Haffey (In a suit no t-shirt) and Rene Kink (What massive, massive bloke)

Anyway Haffey mentioned that he knows of 3 current AFL coaches that were not keen on doing any extra work or were not prepared to do the hard yards but he didn't mention who. I love this guy and respect his word so I doubt he would have said just to entertain crowd.

So it got me wondering who they might be surely not Ratts but who?

What do you guys think and my apologies if this has been posted in the wrong area.

Look towards the bottom of the ladder.

I wouldn't take Tommy's opinion as gospel

Strangely the four I would guess as putting in the least hrs would be Matthews, Roos, Malthouse and Thompson as they all know what they are doing and have the confidence to delegate.

Was he saying that they didn't do the hard yards when they were players or was he referring to them as coaches now?

Yeah - as players, makes more sense but then we need to know if he was talking about on the training track or match day

Sorry, let me clear it up...He was saying that those current coaches didn't do the hard work whilst in their playing days more so at training I gather and now they are coaches
they are expecting their players to do it but not seeing the results.

Could be some of the lower ladder clubs but maybe not?

Could not be talking about Choco. The poor bugger has never been so busy as with each passing week he has to try to remove more and more egg from that ugly face of his. The bloke needs the tie done tighter. Wallace wouldn't move fast without a cattle prod inserted. I hope we do that today!@
