Internet Explorer 6.

I currently have IE6 but my only problem is that it keeps crashing, popping up this window saying that its caused an error blah blah blah, would you like to report it to microsoft and so on.

It always happens if you close a new window before its actually started to load and it now crashes when I have a few windows open.

How the hell do I fix it? Its annoying the hell out of me!

Exploder 6 works fine with XP, it could be that on earlier OS's 5 would be kinder.

Been using Ie6 since day one and all fine here.

First time I went IE6, the same thing happened to me, kept crashing on an otherwise stable system in the same way you described. So I went back down to 5.5, which was no drama. After a couple of months I reinstalled 6 and it's been fine since. So maybe you should do the same. Reinstall with your virus checker turned off as well.

I use Win 98 btw.

I've gone back to IE 5.5 but for some reason my IE windows are struggling for memory now. They keep closing.

we had the same problems yesterday, except that our 'puter actually crashed, its a damn business computer as well, so its gunna cost a lot. We are going to have to reformat the hard-drive and reinstall everything. On the plus side, it looks like we will be getting broadband!!!!
