Interstate tickets

Wasn’t sure where else to post this, so thought I’d kick off a new thread.

I’m looking at taking my young bloke down to tassie for the swans game. Tickettek says there are only single seats available Ticketmaster reseller has them starting at $150+...

Any suggestions as to how I could get my hands on 2 tickets?

I am confused by this, I am going to this game as well, and got the tickets about 2 weeks ago and at the time there was hardly any seats left, but our tassie games last year did not seem to be that full.

You will be able to get General Admission tickets if you dont mind standing however

Do I book flights, accommodation etc etc and turn up in hope that there are tickets available on the day when I get even buy 2 off ticketek?

Are their no general admin tickets listed? I have only been once (the smashing of the crows) but from memory at least 1/3 of the ground was standing room/general admin

Just checked, there are general admin tickets available. Your north membership will get you in general admin, put your bar code in and select general admin see if it lets you pick up a free ticket

How do you do this if you have a digital membership?

Yep, i receive something like this in my digital membership with no numbers included. The numbers are whast needed when booking through ticketmaster.

From memory the Premiership club membership gets you in to an enclosed bar that overlooks the oval. It is nice as it's pretty cold during mid winter but I do prefer outside. It was possible to kind of walk outside but you weren't meant to and you couldn't go back and forth at will. This was a couple of years ago at the Richmond game.

I have also been and watched from the hill, standing on a grassy knoll. It was awesome. There was drinks and toilets very handy and there was a place where people could go to smoke without having to leave the ground. Most of my mates are smokers so it worked well. we played West Coast and lost by about 2 points which was the only negative of the whole experience.

Given the choice I would go back to the hill as my preference although with kids you may prefer a seat.

Hmmm. Just tried to purchase 4 tickets entering my membership barcode via the AFL website ticketek link and all categories show up as Allocation Exhausted. Then I found this thread............From what I can gather my membership will get me into the ground but we'll have to stand? This will be my 6 trip in six years to a game in Tassie and have never had an issue with getting tickets although I generall do by them earlier. Anyone know if they will be releasing more tickets.

It’s still the same now. Only single seats left. Hard to imagine that just about every single seat is already sold.
