i think as a club we lack a certain intimidation. apart from hamill we have no one who players **** themselve when the see them coming. mabey this is because we are a young team, but i feel it would be benificial draft or trade for someone who has a presence. like a jonothan brown.

discuss???

There's a fe at the club, but Sammy is the main one. Rix, Maguire & Fraser can be intimidating, but not that much. If we could get some aggression into Jimmy Gwilt i reckon he'd be fairly scary. He's solid and has that islander look such as Mal Micheal. Once he matures and becomes a senior player he could be one to watch out for in terms of intimidation. If only Bakes was a half a foot taller.

I don't think you want to trade for a player just for intimidation but it's a good thing to have.

matty maguire has a future as an intimidator perhaps already is... brett voss, steve baker each to an extent..fraser but he is usually just stupid intimidation like when somthin goes against him he'll stare people down and start throwing cheap ones

Lenny Hayes has a touch of mongrel in him, he has a list of victims from his hip and shoulder and one or two from his "don't argue".
Aaron Hamill is renowned for his hardness and I don't need to tell you how much he adds (be it any team).
Justin Koschitzke is no wuss, he loves the tough stuff and he has the size and strength to back up his aggression.
Steven Baker is a brilliant little player, tough as a rock and twice as hard. He oozes aggression and is as game as they come.
Matty Maguire is another - his size and physical presence is out there and he flies the flag for us each time he plays.
Stephen Powell is another tough one, he is always scrabbling for the ball in tight situations and he gives as much as he gets.
Brett Voss, although not a "niggler" has never stepped away from a challenge and has more courage than is good for him, the same could be said for Maxy Hudghton.

Now it is notable that a number of the guys that I rate as our intimidators just aren't out on the park at the moment. This doesn't mean that we have no ability to intimidate at the moment, it just means that we are without our best intimidators and hence it is wise not to approach matches with the intimidation mindset - as it not our strength at the moment. There are some teams that will beat us on that basis, if we do.
