Footy's back....thank god, it feels like forever since September

It wasn't a great game from him but he presented well and kicked a goal. Probably only took 2-3 marks on the lead. He'll get a chance next week.



Tenace was fairly quiet. He would have had about a dozen possessions and kicked a goal (running into an open goal, no pressure).

Varcoe didn't play.

DMac = McKenna? I think mainly forward.

Donohue played and got a handful of touches. Seems to be a decent size but I can't recall anything else he did.

Didn't see Kangars

Davenport played too and I was underwhelmed. Made a couple of dashes but he didn't get the space he likes so didn't have much of an impact.

Gamble was good. Lively up forward and kicked a couple of goals. He'll see senior footy in '08.

Hawkins was quiet, yes. Though, if he'd kicked straight he would have had 3 so that wouldn't have been a bad return.

Thanks for the reports, everyone. Sounds like a decent hit out and there must have been a bit of fire in the belly going by the (somewhat beat up) clash between Lingy and SJ.

Should be interesting to see how lines up this week.
