Before anyone questions this. I have verified the credentials of RFC_Offical and its legit.

Welcome to the board RO, you will find we are a very laid back in our attitude and even though some of the darksiders may not always agree with the clubs position. We all love the Tigers

We mentioned it in the chat last week on the B&F but yes we are officially on BigFooty and are hear to listen to ideas/suggestions/etc.

We are going to start putting a bigger emphasis off the field on the opportunities that the internet can offer, and places like Facebook/Twitter but also message boards like BigFooty are part of that.

Please be aware we are here to take any feedback to ways we can improve in marketing and fan activities and would love to hear initatives you would like to see and other things alone those lines...however I am not the coach, so on-field talk won't do much good. :)

We're here and ready to listen.

Great initiative by the club.

I guess all on here have suspected/known that some RFC players and/or officials probably have a look at our ramblings on here occasionally but now that it is "official", I wonder if the posting styles of some may change?
I'm sure you have the thickest of skins... you would need that around here sometimes.

Anyway, welcome aboard & I look forward to reading "official" RFC posts from time to time... :thumbsu:

You keep saying "official" but I've had mods verify us. And I hope the posting styles dont change.
 
There we go right on cue. Nobody expects anybody to change their posting style and in no way does this mean that the RFC have any form of control/edit on this board.

Great initiative by the club.

I'm hoping you will to answer questions some posters will have about our club as well.

Which leads me to a question. The rumour mill seems to be buzzing about Tambling heading to GC. I was pretty sure he signed a deal this year to the end of 2012, but I can't find confirmation of this. I was hoping you could confirm if he was signed up or is in negotiations at the moment?

I knew it was legit because Khan started the thread.

Can we ask Historical questions?

eg:

Did we ever have serious discussions with K Sheedy over coaching the Tigers anytime between 1985-2005?
Did we really sign Tony Lockett in the early 90s only to have the AFL gazump us and send him to Sydney?
Were we really prepared to buy a couple of thousand South Melbourne memberships in 1974, just so we could make them trade John Pitura?

How about we get the ball rolling with a new design for the caps. i.e. get back to the real deal...Black with a roaring tiger's head at the front. Simple and effective and it doesnt look like a $2 shop cap like they do now. ;)

Welcome Official...we're a good bunch..we don't bite...hard! lmao

I agree with Cogga re the caps but also that lots of us have collected them over the years so each year we should be able to buy ones that reflect our status, i.e. Silver, Gold, Platinum, even if they aren't included in the membership package. Any chance of making guernseys with beer bellies in them? lmfao
 
Actually I have a question.


Richmond's current logo.

To me it represents failure and dissapointment. Although the actual graphic is really detailed and much better than every other clubs, I just can't help but see failure everytime I look at it. The 90's logo did the same.

The question I have is, are the club planning on making a new logo? If so, can it be similiar to the 80's logo, with the entire Tiger body, where its launching...attacking. That looks cool, vicious and its a small thing, but it helps cement our new era.
 
RFC Official, can you please move the " Family Day " away from the Craigieburn dust bowl with no shelter, to Punt Road Oval and please erect some shelter for the fans especially if it's raining or in the case of this year 34c.......just an idea.
