I am having a problem lately where when my earplugs are plugged in and I am listening to music the volume automatically turns up to. I turn it down only for it to turn back up.
Has anybody else had this problem/know how to fix???

It turns itself up straight away? Does the external speaker do the same thing? Sounds like you may have a faulty volume button

have not had a problem when talking to people on the phone. only seems to happen when ear plugs are plugged in

Do your earphones have volume control? Have you tried other earphones?

yeah, they are the iPhone ones.
Screen comes up with volume control on iPhone.
