I've got an ipod touch which "lost" all of it's content when I syncd it today with itunes.

The ipod was saying "no content" when I looked at my music/ videos etc, but when I looked at the device in Itunes I could see that everything was still there.

I've now done a restore and am re-syncing everything; but I lost my application progress (I was a bit through Plants V Zombies :thumbsu: ) and was wondering if this happened to anyone else?

I've had a very similar problem for the last week or so.

Connect my Ipod, Itunes opens, Itunes Crashes, Itunes opens and crashes again in an infinite loop, so I have to d/c my Ipod. When I try and turn my Ipod on again, it flickers and the 'please restore'screen comes up.

I connect it to restore again, it doesn't crash, so I restore it.

Happened 3 times in the last week.

Don't know whether it is the program or the Ipod that is the problem :(

Well after restoring it to factory and then restoring it from backup a couple of times, I think that it could be an application(s) that could be doing it.

Seems to be working for now with only a few applications (FB, Gmail, PVZ, Traffic Rush :thumbsu:) whereas when I tried to sync all of my applications after doing the restore I'd still get the No Content message.

Did a sync last night and lost all my purchased songs and videos on my iPod (not my applications or photos though )

Rebooted the iPod, synced it again and everything was back in a minute. Almost like the files were still there just not showing up. I didn't need a restore or anything.

In case anyone still has this problem, I found a post that I can't quite find now that referred to the problem as being corrupt headers in some mp3s that people added to their library for syncing.

So essentially they deleted the last few mp3s that they added from itunes and it all worked fine. I tried the same by removing some of the podcasts that I had syncing and that seems to have done the trick.
