St Kilda
Or do people who have lost faith in us, or people who are saying we are going crap not realise that we have beat Collingwood, Fremantle and Sydney and they are in the top 4? And Also one of the top favourites for the Priemiership, the not so good against Saint bulldogs? Oh the Irony.

Not sure they ever had faith in us to begin with TBH. Which doesn't matter. What these other clubs don't realise, is enjoying the spotlight and being premiership favourites does naught to increase your chances of actually winning it.

Let's just let the boys be about their business quietly and confidently...

No Riewoldt. Ross lyon making the saints play ugly football and the Saints can not kick any goals, of course everyone is going to think St.kilda are going to struggle. Good, gets a bit of hype of the Saints. :)

Must be a slow news week.

The StK v Freo game was a terrific contest from both teams. Just two weeks ago, but obviously not enough people watched the game.

The week before people were saying what a gutsy effort it was to win with multiple injuries during the game.

Good thread and a point I've been thinking about too...

People disregard St Kilda because of the Riewoldt factor... I think if anything.. the way St Kilda have played the last 3 weeks without him (even the port game) shows more about St Kilda than anything they did last year...

I think the way st kilda has been able to adapt to a major restructure is nothing short of champions material. People are small minded and love to see the colourful bright stuff... but the experience, the guts and the ability to grind out wins without riewoldt and against the best will only transform your players to that next level and when Riewoldt is back up and firing the St Kilda team will be better than what it was before Roo got injured...

There is not a single team in the comp that is able to experiment with their structure mid year, get some wrong, get most right and still defeat most that come before it...

I am more confident that St Kilda will win the flag this year now than I was at the start of the year...

It's nice to hear from people who show an interest in footy outside of their own club loyalties, you sound like you love the game as well as Carlton.

Looking forward to Monday night, thought our teams put on quite the match last year. Though, I personally would have liked you to get your win out of the way last week ;)

I think that no one has expections for Saints I remember going to the footy as a kid and a win used to be novality :-) Richmond are going to have this same problem. Look Melb and Freo - where were they last year and look how they have played this year - its great. People seem to hang shit on saints all the time - We can only play with Roo - then we play without 10 of our top players and we get no credit. We can only play at Etihade (or what ever the new name may be) then we win everyone of our interstate games and on MCG - and still no credit.
I love how we have changed our game plan - I believe that we have had to do it the last couple of weeks - not because of Roo injured but because Gram has not been there as well (we played a more attacking style when Gram was in against Freo and the two last games he has been out it has been zone/defence/flood) I love that we are winning and winning at all costs (without being dirty) that is what good teams do and I believe we are a good team at the moment

Shhhhhhhhhhhh

the less hype, the better

media all over pies and cats right now

pies will drop off as usual soon enough, here's hoping the doggies are back in the spotlight by then.

the less attention, the better
