So everyone loves Roo but is it time that he steps back and lets the team grow without him? I know it's a touchy subject but is he now putting himself ahead of the team? When he's on one leg, he's a liability. He needs to get fit or retire.

Was very good early this yr.
Seems a bit hampered the last 2 weeks with his running.
Im pretty sure its more an injury problem than a form problem and its only been a problem this season these last 2 weeks.
Think his got enough credit in the bank to get through 2 quiet weeks before we write him off.

Just needs a spell. The guy is 34 and relies on his gut running to play well. We need to start managing him like a 34 year old and give him a week off here and there.

He would have been one of our top 3 players until round 6 but the last two weeks he looks like he's sore.

I get where you're coming from especially with Paddy in the wings. The great Roo has looked slow the past couple of games but all he really needs is a week off to freshen up like the the thoroughbred he is...wouldn't mind if the selectors manage him a bit because at 34 every game he plays from here on in is a bonus for mine.absolute champ!

If Roo could hold the cup that really would be an image to behold.

That's the problem with that attitude. The club's bigger than him. It's not all about him.
Wow. Sooo leading the club again in marks and goals whilst missing a game and playing another couple semi injured and he should retire? To give who a go exactly?

One of the worst calls I've heard in a long time.

He's had a couple of average games and that's it. Peanut.

IMHO Roo is using his footy smarts to cover his fragile body, nothing wrong with that, we don't know how close his body is to the end, and he does seem to come out limping from plenty of contested situations. I'd wait til the end of the season before I signed him up again.

Don't think it's time, but if he's not right he shouldn't be playing. I'll go he if he's right atm. Not doing himself or the team any favors.

Proved already this year when he's fit he can not only compete but still dominate,

Play him when he's right.

I think he's already signed up next year
