Regardless of us shooting ourselves in the foot tonight , is it too much to ask to have close to our best team take the field this season?
These injuries and who they're are happening to are bordeing on ridiculous.
My odds for next player to go down
2-1 Tarrant
4-1 Burns
6-1 Clement.

Too Much Too Ask - Bad Religion

a refreshing plunge,
a drink of palatable water,
a deep inspiration on a warm summer day,
a safe stroll in a middle of the road community,
a neighbour who in times of need will not turn away,
I ain't no politician, I am a citizen,
and I wonder if I'm living too far out of bounds

community protection, rehabilitation,
police that serve without legitimate right to maim,
global awareness, ecological guilt,
cultural and environmental awakening,
I ain't no optimist, I try to be a realist,
and I think that we're living too far out of bounds,
is it too much to ask?
could it be the earth is shrinking?,
I can see the walls closing in,
no one can take much for granted anymore

remote control, three cars for every family,
corruption at the expense of the simple majority,
a violent clash, a plunder of the third world,
any wretched ploy that bolsters our economy,
I ain't no blind supporter, I'm a conscious citizen,
and I know that we're living too far out of bounds,
is it too much to ask?
could we keep the earth from sinking?,

I'm not taking nothing for granted anymore

Getting away from the injuries theme, I put to you, my fellow Magpie followers `Is it too much to ask that our players can kick on both feet (and before anyone asks - no I don't mean both feet at the same time!)

I mean, fair dinkum, you'd think this would be sorted out in Little League. This was particularly obvious during the first half of the Carlton game. Why do clubs draft these types when it is a clear downside of their game? These players are nothing short of woeful, if not non-existent, on their non-preferred side:

Tarrant, Woewodin, Walker, Licuria, Cole, Johnson ... They're the ones I can think of for now! Notice they're all left footers? What's up with that?

They're either getting caught trying to get back onto their left or doing stupid, unnecessary handballs which mostly result in turnovers which more often than not result in opposition goals (watch the North game if not convinced!).

Is it just me having a rant or are you guys in agreeance as well?

You are right. Add Shaw who is a right footer for a bit of balance ;)
