Thats a big NO..........the guy is 28 years old, he is no good as a player maybe he is ok in the ruck but definatly not when there is guys like Brogan,Cox and Charman out there

Only if he gets paid next to nothing, and we don't have to give up much.
No doubt the guy can play when fully fit, but he is rarely fully fit.

I'd rather see us get a ruckman like Cox or Charman, but if it comes down to Allan or nothing, then it might be worth a gamble.

i recon yeah maybe, He'd be as cheaper then anyone else out there, and Brogan has just signed a new contract i think so i doubt he'll be going anywere,

28 isnt that old, he'll still have a couple of years maybe and thats all we need for Fraser and Richards

i mean dont get me wrong if we can get Charman or Cox then lets do it but if he's avaliable and we had no luck with them 2 its worth a crack

Remember when people wanted "a look at" Ricky Mott last year. Gee hes really progressed.
What about SES when he was delisted? people said he might be worth a look at.
Personally id rather play Richards or Cam Cloke in the ruck ANYDAY than these nimrods.

Hmmm that is a tough one. They are probably on a par with each other, however I think Allen has actually played a few good games, something Kinnear cannot lay claim to.

BK doesnt get enough chance and all you ****head magpies supporters out there dont give him a chance. He has made one mistake in football,when switching against Carlton and is set to pay with his career.All you that say he cant play are off ya tree and i hope for his sake he proves you all wrong,but considering this year he has shown enough to clear him of his mistake then it is unlikely any of you will ever forgive him

The biggest problem with Allan is that his manager will come with him. We have ruled out dealing with blokes like that. That was a good move. The second biggest problem is that I can't remember his last effective game. We need a ruckman but if take Allan will we get one? Maybe but highly risky and then we ahve his white ant manager to deal with. Forget it. We'd be better off with the mentally and physically fragile White.

Oh please! I recall seeing him at Vic Park as a kid starting out and saying to my missus that he was promising. His great claim to fame was that he topped the motor skills at draft camp. I think he used a car though.

He has had some chances and every single time has shown that he is not capable of being an AFL footballer - not now and not ever. His one mistake as you put it was no worse than a few that game. I can easily forgive a mistake. His last game showed that that kick was not an abberation it was the norm. It isn't even his kicking that is his biggest problem. His biggest problem is that he can't get the ball to turn it over in an AFL match unless it is given to him and even then not every time.

He isn't even a regular VFL star. As a footballer he has no redeeming feature at all. He is reasonably mobile but not quick, he is an average mark at best, his ground skills are average, he doesn't read the play particularly well and his disposal is poor. What the hell else does a player have to not possess to not be a player?

Plus MM and the match committee don't think much of him either or he would have played a lot more than 40 games in 5 years.
The boy is a dud, now get over it a pick a new player to call a star.

Sounds a lot like Licuria and Molloy. Players like mcgough deserve bagging as the **** up every week but Bk's games this season have been enough to keep him in the side. If not for the injury he would still be in the team. He played 1 game last year and was still named emergency in the granny.He is tall,He is mobil.His kickin,though questionable at times ,is certainly not the worst at the club. He puts his body on and tackles.He can mark better than a molloy/Mckee/Walker all big men fighting for the same positions. Redeeming feature? Which players have them? the star players. Jason Johnson is a great player and what are his redeeming features, his effort? well Ben doesnt lack effort.

Kinnear has played a few solid games, and 1 great game against the Bulldogs in 2000 or 2001 where he got 3 Brownlow votes as a floating ruckman.

The depth of our list is not as good as we thought and it's schocking, wich I dont agree, you guys say that he is so bad, well there is plenty of players I would rate him above on out list....

Mick obviously has people he likes and doesnt like and Kinnear is obviously one he likes

Kinnear signed a 3 year deal (3 years ago). He is out of contract at the end of the year. He is on the list because no other team would trade for him. If we cut him lose while on contract we have to pay it out. Simple really.
And he doesn't keep getting a game.
He gets a game when it is thought we need a bit more height in the team oe when we have a lot of injuries to our talls.
This year he has played 3 games, and he didn't get a game until round 16, which I would think is about his average.
He will be delisted or traded if another club is silly enough. Here Doggie Doggie.
