Looking at our young list it looks to me like we are on the verge of some prolonged success. Dont think i am jumping the gun here.

I think if we can win a final this year, and get a good run with injuries next year - and potentially add another young gun midfielder we are in with a real shot next year.

Are we pushing on the stubborn bastard, trying to force it open? Most definitely. I expect it to fly open next year.

The side is young and hungry, add a bit more polish to the middle and hopefully get EMac back in reasonable form and we can get there.

I rekon our draw has been pretty soft so far this year and will remain relatively soft.

Still unsure of the consistent output of Shuey, Gaff, Masten and Yeo and the eventual ceiling of Sheed. One more A grade midfielder to give some depth through there and we are set though for sure.

I guess the good thing is, a few of those really dominant sides from the past few years are slowly dropping off. Cats, Hawks don't seem, at this stage, to be quite as good as last year, and they are ageing, as are Freo. Port could go either way, as could the Roos. It seems like a good time to be coming up the ladder

Hawks are flying under the radar IMO. Way too early to think they won't be cherry ripe come September. They lost half their games while Lewis and Hodge were out IIRC. Roughy has been in awful form and has still had 40 scoring shots and 10 GA.
