it seems to me that there is no way this football club can return from its spiral of shame. in my view there is nothing that can save this club, with its losing culture it feels as if it will never change, i hope desperately that they can prove me wrong, but cmon, how many times in the 20 odd years have we actually threatened for a flag? is there some sort of curse? am i going crazy? does anybody share my view?

The problem is that the AFL rewards mediocraty, so as long as the coaches, administrators and players get a nice fat pay check, whats the need to improve? Premier league soccer on the other hand makes you work your ass off to get back, and thats what we need, to be relegated. At least then we might come back with a bit of confidence. We're shot. Just a theory anyway.
