Nope.

We completely folded in our losses last year and never looked likely with the injury God's completely against us.

We are fighting and grinding out games this year against pretty good opposition. For instance, I don't expect us to be walloped by an Essendon at the G' like they did to us last year.

We are a much better side this year despite the 4 losses on the trot.

This feels nothing like last year. As Bucksboys stated, we have better youth and depth and although we have played poorly in some games, we have not been blown out of the water. Our structures have held up reasonably well and our lesser lights have improved. At the start of the season the majority of BF posters had us outside the eight (between 8-12), then we started winning some early games. We may have had some honourable losses, but we still have not beaten a side above us. This is still very much a development year, our deficiencies are glaringly obvious and from all the trade rumours, hopefully being addresseed and we will continue to have our ups and downs but we are significantly ahead of where we were last year.

Next 3 games are against average opponents. I think that will tell us more than our previous 3 weeks which were against teams ahead of us in development.

If we lose the next few games, then it is history repeating.

But the true supporters know we arent quite at hawthorn or freo level, but we should be ahead of doggies and carlton etc.

I think the doggies will come out snarling next week at their home ground and we'll be wounded maggies....but that's when you'll see the character of a few of these boys. Both teams playing for a finals berth...line in the sand game.

The Dogs are Good Side and Ahead of us in there Re-Build but After that we have Dees and Scum and that be Interesting how we go against them both again after Smashing them early in the Season then we have 3 Interesting games vs Swans Tigers and Pussie Cats

But that doesn't excuse the fact that they were honorable losses.

We have put it up to the very best and fallen short. But only just. And that is where we are at right now.

That is a major improvement of what 2014 was.

Doubt we will finish as poorly though as last years injury run was unheard of. It'll probably just be a little bad.

How is it repeating, we have lost to four teams that are clearly better than us.

I don't care where Port are on the ladder, for me they are still a very good side and better than we are.

We are a lot better than we were last season and too think anything different is just madness. If we lose a game in the next three weeks then you could argue that history is repeating again but up until this round, we have been a lot better than last season.

Yep. Injury list mounting, players seem to be also slowing down much earlier than we did last year.

We are now out of the 8 even with a soft draw. In comparison, this time last year we were higher up on the ladder with a tougher draw. Improvement

I can see us finishing with a very similar win loss ratio as last year and like last year miss out on the 8. This may sound strange but despite that we are a better side and are improving.

Far from it. Completely different to last year. Last year was a shambles the second half. This year we are up there with the best of them but just falling short. Next 3 weeks will tell a tale. Dees & Blues should be certainties but I'm just a little worried about this next game v Dogs. Must keep our heads up. Cloke out is massive though :/
