Sounds like LRT was close to being traded, or at least got a very stern talking to at the end of last year.

This article has left me very confused. I would've expected to see it 12 months ago. I would've said '08 was a pretty shitty year for the guy, but 2009 seemed pretty solid to me. Apparently not, though.

LRT-bashers can feel comfortable that the club often agrees with them, apparently.

Discuss.

I read that on RWO and was left wondering the same thing. There's no way that can be based on 2009, it was one of his best seasons.

Very odd indeed, 2009 was his best season by far and i thought it was widely accepted as such. I do remember the Kangaroos were floating around as asking about getting LRT to their club but Roosy signed him to a 2 year deal quickly.

The article seems to be based on his 2009 form but all sense would say it would be his form before 2009. But then it references the first 3 games of this year.

Odd...

Just signed up to the facebook page site. The reality is, mid 2000's we were really struggling with KPP backs. Roosy decided to make LRt a project CHB. He isn't perfect, but played a key role in winning us the 2005 premiership. He may not have improved heaps on that game, but every season he improves as a player. The same is happening with Reg. Roosy is making him a very good KPP back.
Most underrated player in the league. Even the coaches don't rate him.
