is shane not absolute value here at $1.65? he leads by 5 goals to archie, who i think is a spud. Shane is easily the best striker in the land..

Normally, I would say yes, however there are some strong rumours that Smeltz may get a contract in the J-League.

Listening to the NZ national team manager, he said that he would be surprised if Smeltz lasted the whole season. Similar to Robbie Fowler, who is attracting interest from some Div 1 English teams, they can up and go, ala Danny Allsopp.

It was Turkish interest, not J-league.

I think Turkey is his preferred destination but from reports yesterday, it looks like he won't get going anywhere this year.
