Anyone else hate this arrogant, girly looking ********

He had a decent one day series and all of a sudden he thinks hes king f***ing dick, Bowls a ball if its played and missed has to mouth off
F**K OFF, YOUR NOT THAT GREAT YET

i wish he had of bowled to Steve Waugh and mouthed off at him, Waugh would of put him in his place

Good player, has the ego to match his talent. Is the Buddy Franklin of the Indian Cricket Team from what I have heard.

I'm a big fan of Ishant's. I think we can all look forward to a wonderful career from him (except against us). Just got Katich out. Nice delivery.

Doubt you would have said the same thing if he played for Australia.

Bet you never thought that about McGrath, Warne etc did you?.

Most exciting emerging young fast bowler in the world IMO.. will be a great bowler for a long time provided he doesnt break in half..

could do with a haircut though

I'd imagine he'd be a difficult bowler to pick up the line against. His natural action sees him deliver the ball on an inward angle yet the natural reaction of the his delivers is to straighten or deviate toward the slips.

Basically you cant leave the ball, your natural reaction is to cover the ball in flight, given the pace, once you've covered the line you'd feel the urge to play at the ball and then it hits the deck, leaves you and you're left wondering what you did wrong.

Perfect recipe for a caught behind, got no doubt that will be his major mode of dismissal.

I love the touch of arrogance, nothing worse than seeing a talent without the attitude never get the most out of himself.

Sharma needs a few more runs on the board before he can carry himself with that level of arrogance.

Needs a haircut.

McGrath 563 wickets @ 21.64
Warne 708 wickets @ 25.41
Sharma 23 wickets @ 36.21

And as already pointed out, Lee was regularly chastised (and rightly so) for acting like a tool. Thankfully he's mainly reined it in these days since taking over the bowling leadership mantle.

i tend to agree about Sharma but to be fair you need to be a bit of ego and arrogance to survive at the top level.

he probably goes over the top a bit with his aggression.

Thankfully he's mainly reined it in these days since taking over the bowling leadership mantle.

probably not a coincidence that Lee's bowling has improved four-fold since he's got himself under control. he now has a good balance of aggression and control.

Thats the same for all fast bowlers.

Great action and certainly an exciting prospect. My only criticism of him at the moment (ignoring the hair) is that he only seems to be dangerous with the new ball. Kumble needs to be careful in how he uses him. He must make sure he uses him as a strike bowler rather than giving him a big workload.

I reckon that hair would annoy the shit out of a bastmen facing him.

I'd demand the 12th man to come out with some brush cutters or something and give it a trip.

Maybe then Rudi could have some hair or Greigy.

If Kumble and Habi dont' fire Ishant will be doing alot of bowling me thinks.

I think he is good, but he certainly isn't the second coming cricinfo.com seem to think he is.
