ISP blocking sites

Went to check out kickasstorrents tonight to get some "non copyrighted stuff" and screen was (white) blank tried to refresh not getting anything when going to site. Is this a case the site being down or my ISP somehow blocking me from the site.

kickasstorrents works for me, it may be that your ISP has a crappy DNS Server and does block certain sites like my ISP (MNF) who block Steam . So in order to get around that I use OpenDNS, which allows you to manually connect to their DNS Servers.

Not sure what it is worked perfectly fine the othe day. Don't really want to do a 5 year stretch for illegally downloading the bachelorette ( it was for my wife) that would leave my street cred in tatters..
