It's goodbye from me for a while ...

Well after about five years in the planning I am setting out for a long sojourn around this great country of ours interspersed with trips to Asia, USA, Canada and UK. But I actually plan to be in Melbourne more than I have been in recent years and get back to a physical presence at watching more of our games.

Over the next few weeks I will not be online until I'm set up with wireless internet and after that I hope to get back to chatting in this place from where ever I maybe as I enjoy it so much. Hawks supporters here at BF are uniquely different and refreshing in comparison to some of the foolish posters in other places.

I would like to mark my appreciation of Grendel who no doubt puts in a great deal of time to moderate this board and keep the equilibrium that is required. Thanks Gren.

Thanks again to everyone and until I am in a position to be back online bye and good luck at the start of the season.

PS: Coolie/Tweed will always be my home though - be back here on regular occasions.

I would be lying if I said I wasn't envious. I hope your travels bid you well and you find most of the secrets of this Great Land of ours which we call Australia. If I have a tip, take your time going down the Great Ocean Road, particularly if it's good weather. It's absolutely stunning from Airey's Inlet, Lorne and all the way to Warnamble. Also, Margaret River and Rotness Island in W.A. are just as beautiful. Bon voyage!
