he just turned 22.Had a couple of poor games after having a fantastic month.Kidd is a fantastic player, who parker might not ever get close to in ability but Im very happy we kept Parker who will get better and better, blind freddy can see that.

Parker's not the reason we lost this series, that can be shared around the whole team.Congratulations to the lakers and we will see them same time next year.

Go Spurs

I agree that Parker is a very good young player and whilst he contributed to you losing the series he alone is not to blame. What I do find confusing/worrying though is how he has a tendancy to play the first two games in the crunch series really well, eg Lakers and Nets series last year, and then he disappears.

The other disappointing thing from Spurs perspective it seems like they counted on him to be the player to get them over the top in this series. Most people thought that he would handle Payton comfortably and he kind of did disappoint in the last four games. Payton IMO had a better series. At least a more consistant series.

good points and it is a concern.Hopefully it is just a youth thing as point guard is the hardest position to play(and learn)

He is 22(in 2 days) and most players his age are still in College learning the game so hopefully by the time he is 25-28 he is peaking and playing consistant basketball, his speed is his greatest asset, just needs to work on his passing and outside shot.Athens might be a good learning experience for him as well as he will be the main focal point of france's team.

dissapointed in todays loss, but the future is bright.

Game notes
Parker celebrates his 22nd birthday Monday. He has the most assists and second-most points for a player under 22 in NBA playoff history. Bryant ranks first in points and third in assists. .

Pains me to haul my ass into this thread. I thought Hedo would come through, he proved he is mentally soft when it comes to the big time. Many other things ****ed up.

Full credit to the Lakers.

No words. I'm heartbroken.

Well I was proven right. I said the Spurs wouldnt be good enough to beat the Lakers, Minny and Sac-Town are though so we'll just have to wait for the outcome of that series.

Wouldnt another Sacramento, Lakers series be awesome!

Only if we get the same result.
