Don't you think that has something to do with the coach though? I really haven't been at all impressed with Riley's performances so far. Sure, we have injuries to players and we're blooding youngsters left, right and centre, but we should be at least somewhat competitive. I mean, even 4-5 goal losses will do me at this stage. Take a look at carlton, Ratten has turned their relatively inexperienced bunch into a competitive bunch in the matter of weeks. We really shouldn't be getting beaten by 10 goals + every week.

Yeah i know, but I'd say that was partially due to injuries

I think Dunn deserves a game soon, especially if Bate is out. As does Bode. I would also like to more of CJ and Warnock.

But besides that Hayes, Weetra, Neville, Hughes and Neaves aren't ready so shouldn't get games. Neither is Garland really.

We have seen Buckley, Newton, Frawley, Petterd and Garland debut this year, and when added to Bartram and Jones it has to be kept in perspective, at the moment 6 (all but Garland) look like they could be very serviceable players.

So if I was to take over next year I'd prefer to see players like Miller, Ferguson, Brown, Bizzel, Pickett, Holland, Ward and Jamar to see if they're worth keeping.

What will help us for next year is not the experience that debutants are getting because most of them wouldn't get near a game anyway in our best 22, its the experience of a heavy tag that Brock McLean is getting, its Bate having to hold down CHF, its Nathan Jones getting time in the middle, its Aaron Davey having to get his own ball and so on.

Playing him defence was a waste but he did do a very good chase and tackle which was a holding-the-ball.

Stuffing up the bounce on his own was a bit embarrasing though but he may as well get another game. I'd like to see his pace on the wing though as he is apparently very quick.

hahaha nah he doesn't look any good unfortunately. he may have pace but he is slow as in looks slow in the way he uses the ball and that. ...drawing comparisions with Nicholson early on

good penitrating left foot and bit of dash about him could develop into half back/ wing and pinch hitting in the middle.

Looks strong bodied as well
