Freo play in Sydney this week, and had the bye last week, so maybe he was allowed to come home (I'm guessing he's family is in Melbourne) and spend time here before heading to Sydney.

Oh that's right, he won't be playing anyway.

I think it has been written that the Lovett's alleged rape victim was JA's ex-girlfriend. She called him after the alleged rape happened.
That was the rumor going around at the time.
He might be a witness.

he will be back in vic in 2012 playing vfl and trying to convince an afl club to give him another chance. has not worked out at freo at all. if he can't get a game with the injury list the dockers have got then the message is pretty clear. he has the talent, it is all about the application and working ahrd enough. his love of the nightlife is well known, it's a matter now for him as to whether he wants to fade away into the never never and play vfl and suburban footy and live it up, or whether he wants to have another serious crack at footy and say good bye to the party lifestyle

i have no hard feelings on Jack.. he couldn't get a game with us.. after Dawes took his spot.. probably should be getting a freo.. why is there even a thread about him. We're first on the ladder going for a another premiership.. Even if he was doing well at Freo it doesn't effect the way we are going..

Still to this day wish he hadn't left.

Given our injuries at both ends, he'd easily be getting a game. Just needed to work harder and put in more effort and he could have been an amazing defender.

Call me an ass, but seeing so much talent wasted is disgusting IMO. I was pretty untalented when I trained for a chance to impress the scouts who came to central QLD, I did laps daily, 3 days gym works (not a whole lot, but more than anyone else there) and worked on my skills, but by jove I was (and still am) unco, so my kicking was mediocre, at best. I worked hard from 14-16 hoping that I might improve my kicking and maybe move up, but I never was good enough.

To see that kind of talent just go nowhere is depressing.

Couldn't agree more it is terrible to see anyone wasting their talent.

That's my perception ( rightly or wrongly) of Cameron Wood, but it's certainly how it looks form afar.

From reports, JA though is now working his backside off. If so, you can't do anymore than that.

He must have talent to have the year he had in 08-09 or whatever.

So hopefully the hard work will pay off...it nearly always does, so who knows?

Cannot agree at all. He would not be getting a game if still with us. He simply is not good enough to play either back or forward.
