He's not what we need, I don't think - probably same size as Mayney I would have thought and not half the heart. Handy, but if we're looking at plugging holes, probably not the right fit.

Besides, in the media-fapping-over-Eagles stakes, he is probably 3rd after Nic Nat and Kennedy, so there's no way that the Eagles are going to let him walk up the road, even if we really wanted him.

Some of the stuff written here is ridiculous. Of course he'd start for us. I'd trade our first rounder for him without thinking. Do not like him as a player but I didn't like Ross Lyon as a coach two and bit years ago. I'll eventually like him if he plays for freo, unless he turns out like Jack Anthony which he won't.

Yep. Does anyone want to apologise? The original source confirmed, just the other day, that it was still an option for Freo. We've been courting him and putting in offers, and he is firmly on the list.

Why would I make this up? He has a year or two left on his contract. He's a great player, valued by not only any club, but Fremantle's biggest rivals. It's stupid to peddle this and it's even more unlikely than Nathan Brown would make it up – it's off everyone's radar and wouldn't be something a Vic-player and person would come up with.

This is legit. The biggest issue was that the Eagles don't want to make a bold decision without a coach. They now have one. This is breaking today.

I have no doubt that the club would be interested in him. Probably 15 clubs that would give their left nut for him. I just really don't see it happening.

I would much rather apologise to you than let him slip though.

Especially seeing as he has 2 years left on his contract. I seriously doubt West Coast would let him leave and I have to wonder why on earth he would have signed such a long extension if he was anywhere near considering it.
