Game of thrones is the nerdiest show in the world.

Not sure what your point is, what statement does it mean if something is nerdy, furthermore what dictates what is nerdy these days?

Are beheadings, incest, gore, C-bombs, manipulation, deception, violence, nudity/sex and pillaging nerdy? Or is it that someone's wearing a tunic while these things are happening what makes it nerdy? This is the perception from an outside and ignorant view.

Thing is, I'm an adult. I can get my hands on pr0n if I really want it. I can have sex if I want it. I don't have to put up with a bunch of dungeons and dragons lord of the rings Harry Potter bullshit to get it if I want it.

Saying there is sex in it, so that's why it isn't nerdy just doesn't make sense to me. But I suppose I am on an Internet forum it's probably the nerdiest place footy fans are found.

Since you're such an adult you'd think you would have grown out of the too-cool-for-school anti-nerd mentality by now.

I feel sorry for anyone who misses out on such a great show because of preconceived notions. I would have been one of them if my mate hadn't lent me the first series and insisted I give it a try.

Jacko is alright. He is a freo' boy underneath it all. Sure, he isn't Neil deGrasse-Tyson but he is entertaining in his media work. He's a good guy as well. I've seen him taking his daughters to the footy and still make time those drooling WC clowns come up to him even when it's obvious he is having some family time and would rather be left alone. At least he sticks up for Freo' when they occasionally let him in the commentary box.
At the end of the day he has AFL premiership medallions and we BigFooty hero's don't. He is one of the only few slime players I can stand and yes, I can look past the slapovich incident years ago.

Nerds have been cool for ages GOT is a great series the books are even better IMO

See if you like him when we play crows in Adelaide, personally I can't stand him. Jacko sounds like a bloke who is not happy on the boundary, he had his time in the commentary box and got demoted, tough for the big Croat.

Btw Game of Thrones without question best TV show I've seen for a long time. Check out " The Walking Dead " its a close second.

I agree with that but I hate any commentator when they have a relationship with the team.

I respect Roo's opinion and he talks sense. I just wish someone with a more interesting voice would say it.
Someone like the Duck; and yes I agree it looks like Jacko's demotion doesn't sit well with him.
I think his best role would be via cctv doing West Coast only internal club shows; He would be thrilled and the
plebs would be ecstatic.
So would I. Just bring back Carey and Gerard as a duo.
