I almost want one of our players to get whacked because I want to see which players would get in there to fly the flag.

Nelson one of the only players I know would be in there to defend a teammate.

Nelson and Duggan were good today. They both deserve extended time in the 22.

Can get on board with Nelson but Duggan after Q1 was horrible. Can't find it and his self confessed "good disposal" has yet to appear. He has no runs on the board. At the moment though I'd be happy for him to stay in the team over some senior players.

Yes it is easy. I (and a lot of others too) stuck up for him every week though, now's just the time for an I told you so.

i think we have to commit and stick with him for another 10 games, even though he'll probably have some shockers in that span.

same with duggan and sheed. they've shown they can play at this level and are surely as capable of delivering us to the 6th-9th position as hutchings, butler, redden, jetta and the others that shift regularly between the leagues.

it's probably time to find out what we've got in the cupboard and how we start to re-shape beyond this year. hopefully nelson can keep improving with a sustained run.
