I can't see why we wouldn't have a punt on this kid with picks 47 or 23 if still available, watched him play a few games this year and he looks the goods, has a lot of potential and really reminded a lot about reiwoldt in his attack on the ball.
Your thoughts...

I'm a little iffy on McGuane.

Haven't seen a whole lot of him, mostly only by word of mouth, but you'd want alot of things going for you at the in-between height of 189cm.

A great mark, especially overhead, but he really lacks the athleticism and speed that usually need to come hand in hand at that height, perhaps even moreso considering the position he plays.

Worth the punt? Probably only on the rookie list at this point in time.

At that height he'd need to be a clever player with good skills, a Steve Johnson type. If he doesn't have that, then we've already got Gardiner so he'd be of no use.

GeeCat is right! 189cm is the 'in-between' height.

Hopefully his marking ability makes up for that extra 2-3cm he lacks to be considered a 'tall' forward.[/QUOTE
JAKE MGUANE IS A SUPERSTAR I PLAYED AGAINST HIM AND HE CUT US TO BITS, HE PLAYS LIKE HE IS 195
