Rumours Jake Kelly is open to a trade back to Vic next year, possibly Collingwood if they take his brother as a FS.
He hasnt asked for a trade and is still contracted, but would be open to it if the deal was good.

Nice connection there, but I’m not sure Jake fills any pressing need for us, and he’s not so great that we’d chase him regardless of positional need.

If we manage to get some real KPD’s Langdon is surplus to our needs anyway, so I’d still pass.

Kelly is an interesting one. He's a real contested beast. Scrappy, hardworking, physical. Kicking isn't great, actually is better when he doesn't have time to stop and think. Was a great last year.

I, at the moment, think he's borderline out of the 22 with Cheney's form at the moment. Smith may come in and replace him.

If we could get a second rounder for him, I'd be keen.

Had a pretty underwhelming season. Would be disappointed to spend much more than a token pick. Would be livid if our Langdon pick turned into Kelly.

I would take nothing for Kelly. Seems to be one of those that the coaches like so he keeps getting games even though he's only a solid depth player.

He exceeded expectations yeah. His limitations remain though and in a tough year where the pressure was on a lot more in the defence, he was often shown up both with his defensive skills and skills under pressure.

I think he's handy as a depth player. My point is that the club seems to just keep playing him regardless.
