What are you guys doing with this guy? He doesn't seem to be getting much game time even though he has been a great player in recent times. I really enjoy watching him play and he seems to be dropped alot these days, is there any real reason why? If nothing happens in the remainder of this year, do any of you see him as potential trade bait? I know if he was up for trade I would love my club to grab him.

IMO just doesnt have the skills and decision making to play down back. Causes to many turnovers and puts his team mates under pressure. I think if he doesnt get back into the team and prove himself he will be traded or delisted at seasons end.

I can see how you like him from probably only seeing him a handful of times, however if you had watched his whole career as most of us have you would not be asking for his type at your club.

We all love his attack on the ball, and man, but his skills are simply not up to AFL level.

Some clubs can cover this in a few players as the rest of the team is so classy, sadly we are not one of them.

sorry Jake, for all you endeavour etc i was a fence sitter, wanting to see if you improved. Unfortunately you are destined to a career in the VFL. Would be extremely surpirsed if he sees any more senior combat.

Got a huge heart and gives 110% but just his skills let him down. If we did trade him we would get something decent seeing as other sides rate him. How long did he sign on for at the end of last year 1 or 2 years?

i would take anything. he will create more goals for us playing for another team than he does for us. im sorry jake but its true.

don't really know what is happening with him to be honest. Over the pre-season they sort of alluded that he would be groomed to play a tagging role ( a role i think would suit him best, and a role we need) - but they just look to be continuing to use him as a defensive running back. To be honest, he doesn't have the skills or the ability to both be this and man a man either. His lack of height also makes him an easy target in the defensive 50, so to be honest - he doesn't have a position or role in our backline.

If he doesn't get used as a tagger - i don't think he has any place at richmond unfortunately. I'd think a 3rd rounder for him would be fair

Jake King has potential, Richmond just don't let it shine. He isn't given a chance imo. If he changes clubs I reckon he will star whereever he goes.

He's had more than enough chances. When he played this year he was awful, cost the side at least 3 goals from his turnovers. I like his determination and attack on the ball but just isnt up to it.
